Light sheet fluorescence microscopy images the beating heart of a 2-day old zebrafish over extended periods of time, delivering maximal frame rates (80 to 100 fps) with only minimal light exposure. The 2-channel fluorescence image dataset shows blood vessels and the endocardium labeled in red, the myocardium in green. Specimen provided by M. Weber and J. Huisken, MPI-CBG Dresden, Germany.
