ZEISS ApoTome: Tribolium, late serosal morphogenesis

October 31, 2014
The time-lapse movie spans the stages from pre-rupture through compaction to form the dorsal organ and through to the beginning of serosal degeneration. The embryo is in dorsal-lateral aspect with anterior left and dorsal up. The image is a maximum intensity projection for EFGP signal (green) overlaid on a brightfield image (grey channel: embryonic tissue is light grey; the opaque yolk is black).
