ZEISS Lightsheet Z.1 - Drosophila melanogaster embryo, MultiView fluorescence imaging

October 9, 2012
3D rendering of reconstructed Multiview recordings of a Drosophila embryo expressing fluorescently tagged BAC clone (GFP). The gene is csp (cystein string protein) -- a general marker of the central nervous system. 6 angles every 10 minutes. Fluorescent beads (fiducial markers for data registration) are visible around the embryo, so is yolk. BACs: H. Bellen, imaging: M. Weber, P. Tomancak, MPI-CBG, Dresden, Germany.
